INVERTED CENTER STAMPS
Inverted Centers are the aristocrats of Philatelic errors. An inverted center exists when one part of the original design is inverted with respect to the rest of the design. This includes inverted numerals and embossing's but not subsequently applied overprints.
Stamps with inverted centers are among the most sought-after and recognizable rarities in the world of philately. Every Philatelist's heart skips a beat when he or she looks upon for the first time, an inverted center of the country or topic he or she is collecting. Almost every non-stamp collector gasps or at the very minimum is impressed when shown an "upside-down stamp" from any country. There is no doubt about it that inverted center stamps are very exciting pieces of paper.
